Sewing classes will be no larger than 4 students, with 1-2 instructors. Other studio employees may be present during class time, but will remain distanced from the class work space.
Students will be spread out in our studio space and will receive their own tools & sewing machine to use. There will be no sharing of workspace or tools. If a student would feel more comfortable bringing their own tools and/or sewing machine to use, they are welcome to do so.
All tools, machines, and surfaces will be cleaned multiple times daily, particularly every morning before classes begin and in between class times. Cleaning supplies and hand sanitizer will be located throughout the studio for easy access to students. We will provide tissues throughout our studio as well to encourage the covering of coughs or sneezes, with hand washing enforced after.
We will be implementing payment via online invoice ahead of class time, so that we can limit contact on the day of class.
Prior to class, we will email a waiver that must be returned with a signature before students can attend class. It may be returned via email or as a physical copy on the day of class, but we must have a copy before a student can begin class.
We will be requiring 48 hour notice for class cancelations.
If any student or instructor has recently been in contact with a person with COVID-19, is feeling sick, is showing symptoms of COVID-19, or has tested positive for COVID-19, they must stay home.
